- Own and execute automated reliability, regression, and correctness test workflows within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Implement and maintain repeatable test contracts to validate query accuracy and database recoverability.
- Differentiate between functional validation and exhaustive reliability testing by simulating real-world workloads.
- Collaborate with core developers to convert engineering specifications into formal test constraints.
- Investigate performance data variations and identify architectural bottlenecks before production deployment.
- Develop and review automated reports to flag query latency regressions and resource issues.
🛠️ Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience developing using Rust or a desire to learn Rust with experience in C++ or Golang.
- Proven track record in performance, regression, and reliability validation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of CS fundamentals with a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of work experience.
- Comfort using modern AI assistants for troubleshooting and analyzing logs.
- Competency with containerized environments and orchestration frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for asynchronous work.
