Full job description
Who we are
HungerRush is a leading provider of integrated restaurant solutions. HungerRush 360 is our flagship cloud POS system that makes it easier to delight guests, drive loyalty, and manage restaurants from anywhere. The all-in-one system integrates digital ordering, delivery, customer engagement, restaurant management, and payment processing with flexible software designed to give operators more insight into their customers, more control over their operations, and more power to profitably grow their business.
Position overview
As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the reporting, analytics, and cross-product experience layer of HUB, spanning point-of-sale, the HUB Dashboard, and the Mobile HUB app, the primary tool for managing a business on the go. You'll balance the distinct needs of SMB operators, franchise owners, and corporate multi-brand stakeholders within one coherent experience, operating as an empowered product leader accountable for outcomes, not output, in close partnership with Design and Engineering.
This is a modernization, transformation, and 0-to-1 role. The platform is mid-evolution, with real legacy constraints and a company-wide focus on platform stability. Success means untangling hard, constrained problems, sequencing complex changes well, and knowing when to simplify or retire functionality rather than add to it. The strongest candidates are puzzle-solvers who find that energizing, not limiting.
Key responsibilities
Product Operating Model & Continuous Discovery
- Operate as part of an empowered product team accountable for outcomes: success means problems solved, not features shipped.
- Run continuous discovery, staying in regular direct contact with operators, franchise owners, and corporate brand teams to validate problems before committing engineering investment.
- Partner in a product trio with Design and Engineering leads, sharing ownership of the roadmap and its tradeoffs.
- Actively look for opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or retire legacy functionality, treating subtraction as a deliberate product tool.
Commercial Ownership
- Understand the pricing and packaging implications of platform capabilities, factoring commercial tradeoffs into roadmap decisions.
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to position and package new capabilities in ways that support the business model.
AI-Native Product Practice
- Use AI tools throughout the discovery-to-delivery workflow, from research synthesis to spec drafting and prototyping, to move faster without sacrificing rigor.
- Identify and champion opportunities to build AI-powered capabilities directly into HUB, turning numbers into automated recommendations for operators.
- Define the data foundation strategy, quality, structure, and governance, that enables reliable reporting today and AI-driven insights tomorrow.
Platform & Experience Ownership
- Own the reporting and business insights capability set across every channel of the platform.
- Own the HUB Dashboard and HUB on-the-go (Mobile) end-to-end, staying deep enough to demo it, train an operator, and troubleshoot a live issue directly.
- Ensure HUB feels like one unified product, even where individual modules (configuration, menu, loyalty, coupons) are owned by other teams.
Persona-Balanced Product Design
- Design experiences for SMB operators, franchise owners, and corporate brand stakeholders, engaging directly with each to understand their distinct needs and levels of oversight.
- Prioritize and own a roadmap that scales from single-location simplicity to multi-brand, multi-unit complexity.
Data Integrity & Financial Accuracy
- Own the accuracy of metrics that feed financial and franchise-facing calculations.
- Ensure consistent reporting logic across surfaces so operators and franchise partners trust one source of truth, and refine live reporting based on usage data once features ship.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Communication
- Partner directly with Engineering leadership on architectural decisions, shaping technical direction alongside execution.
- Coordinate with other product teams and departments, representing this role in cross-team planning and leading product marketing efforts and go-to-market for owned products.
- Communicate roadmap, trade-offs, and progress to Product leadership, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success, rallying the team around the vision and strategy, not just status updates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager in the SaaS industry, preferably within restaurant Tech or POS domains
- Experience operating within an empowered product team model (Marty Cagan's Product Operating Model), owning outcomes and running continuous discovery as an equal partner with Design and Engineering.
- Genuine enthusiasm for modernization and transformation work, with proven experience evolving a legacy or fragmented platform, including simplifying or retiring functionality as well as launching 0-to-1 capabilities.
- Fluent with AI tools in daily product work (research, spec generation, data analysis, prototyping), and able to identify where AI belongs inside the product itself.
- Experience defining a data foundation strategy that supports both reporting accuracy and downstream AI development.
- Working understanding of pricing, packaging, and how product investment decisions connect to commercial outcomes.
- Ability to design for multiple distinct user types within one cohesive product experience.
- Comfortable working directly with engineering on data architecture and system dependencies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record delivering successful products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred
- Experience in restaurant technology, POS, or another vertical SaaS platform.
- Familiarity with franchise business models and multi-brand or multi-unit operator needs.
- Experience designing for multiple personas, such as franchisor/franchisee or admin/end-user.
- Experience shipping an AI-powered feature or capability in a live, customer-facing product.
