- Own day-to-day operations of the dbt Slack community, ensuring a welcoming, high-signal experience for members worldwide.
- Partner with community leaders and internal stakeholders to evolve channel strategy, community guidelines, and engagement programming.
- Develop and maintain scalable moderation and support workflows, including Code of Conduct enforcement.
- Coach and support moderators and community champions; recruit and onboard new moderators as the community grows.
- Create content systems that keep members informed and activated through announcements and community storytelling.
- Monitor and report on key engagement metrics and run experiments to improve community health.
🛠️ Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital community management or online engagement in a global environment.
- Demonstrated experience owning day-to-day operations for a large online community, including moderation and member support.
- Strong understanding of online community dynamics and how to cultivate trust and belonging at scale.
- Experience building and improving moderation and support workflows, including Code of Conduct enforcement.
- Excellent written communication and facilitation skills.
