Full job description

About Evervault

Evervault offers modular payments infrastructure for companies building their own payments stack. We keep raw card data off your systems, cut PCI compliance work, improve acceptance, mitigate fraud and chargebacks and decrease your cost of payments, so you keep full control. Trusted by Ramp, Rippling, Modern Treasury and Overwolf; Series B, led by Ribbit Capital.

Role Overview

You’ll own how the world understands the way customers use Evervault and how they get the most from it. You’ll turn product and customer insight into things we ship: customer stories, tools, reports, courses and community. You’ll join our Fuel team, working closely with product marketing, content and design. Our CEO, Shane, is heavily involved, from brainstorming ideas to being the face and voice of what we produce.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Talking to customers regularly, hunting for interesting stories and creative ways to tell them

  • Becoming the expert on the business models and customer types we serve, and how each uses Evervault

  • Working with customer success and solutions engineering to add colour to our target segments

  • Getting into the weeds with product and engineering to connect customer needs to what’s technically possible

  • Shipping across formats: blogs and social posts, but also customer workshops, video learning modules, or benchmark tools built on the payment data we see

Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience, ideally in product, product marketing, development, technical writing or solutions engineering

  • Technically competent: a computer science or engineering background, or hobby developer experience

  • Exceptional written and spoken English

  • You think like a journalist: you ask naive questions without embarrassment until you get an answer that’s actually interesting

  • Highly creative: you know what to say and how to say it in a way that stands out

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of payments, fintech or developer tools

  • Experience creating video, workshops or interactive content

  • You’ve built small tools or demos with code

This Might Not Be for You If…

  • You only want to write: we expect you to explore new formats, not just blog posts

  • You want a pure engineering role: this is about understanding customers and telling their stories

  • You’d rather work from a brief: you’ll find the stories yourself by talking to customers

  • You want to work fully remotely: we’re in our Shoreditch office Tuesday to Thursday

Compensation, Benefits & Why Join

  • Stock options with an extended exercise window

  • Private health insurance

  • Generous vacation and flexible working hours

  • Catered lunch in our London office

  • A big say in how the Evervault story is told after our $25m Series B

Interview Process

  1. Recruiter screen

  2. Hiring manager interview

  3. Founder Interview

  4. Take-home task & Presentation

  5. References and offer

Location

This role is based in London, in our Shoreditch office Tuesday to Thursday. We do not currently sponsor UK work visas.

Candidates must be based in the location specified. Any applications from candidates not in the required location may not receive a response.
