Senior Financial Analyst, Cost Accounting

As a Senior Financial Analyst in Cost Accounting, you will drive financial objectives through effective cost accounting policies and frameworks.

Description

• Direct cost accounting policies, controls, and reporting to drive financial and growth objectives.
• Architect and scale the cost accounting framework, including expense allocation methodologies across all business segments.
• Deliver market and product-level profitability analysis to guide leadership on margin optimization.
• Support financial mechanics of intercompany arrangements, including cost allocation and transfer pricing.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models connecting membership growth and vendor spend to P&L.
• Support monthly close related to cost, including accruals, allocations, and variance analysis.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of finance and/or accounting experience.
• Hands-on cost accounting experience including allocation methodology and cost center design.
• Core FP&A or accounting experience: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Advanced financial modeling skills with large and imperfect data sets.
• Deep understanding of ERP or planning systems.
