Senior QA Engineer – Test Automation & Platform Quality

As a Senior QA Engineer at Cloudera, you will ensure the quality of the Taikun platform by expanding automated testing frameworks and collaborating with development teams.

Description

• Own the quality of the Taikun platform, including Kubernetes clusters, APIs, and user interface.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for the platform.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing for features not yet automated.
• Troubleshoot and report issues, providing detailed feedback to engineering teams.
• Mentor junior QA engineers on quality best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Experience with test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Linux command-line usage and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
