The Role Security at Cedar isn’t about saying "no"—it’s about building the "yes."
We are looking for a Product Security Engineer who is an engineer at heart. You won’t run scans and file tickets; you will write code, build infrastructure, and ship internal products that make the secure path the easiest path for our developers.
You will act as a pragmatic partner to our Maker teams, helping them ship high-value features safely without sacrificing velocity. You will solve for high-risk, high-value workflows across product, infrastructure, and integrations.

Build platform security and trust features that protect users from abuse, guide security engineering priorities, and improve account controls through full-stack development, risk scoring, and incident response.
Lead product security reviews and threat modeling for complex applications, APIs, and distributed systems, partnering with engineering teams to identify risks, shape secure architecture, and validate mitigations.
Provides senior technical leadership across enterprise cybersecurity, designing security controls and architecture, leading investigations and incident response, and reducing cloud, identity, infrastructure, and exposure risks.
Own application and cloud security for a healthcare platform, setting security architecture and strengthening identity, secrets, and engineering workflows while addressing risks from AI systems and third-party integrations.
Lead cybersecurity threat and risk assessments for onboard software and vehicle integration, define security concepts and mitigations, and embed security requirements across development, testing, and OEM collaboration.
