- Take executive ownership of day-to-day banking operations, ensuring compliance with the Bank's risk appetite.
- Manage operational relationships with payment channel counterparties and third-party service providers.
- Serve as the primary contact with the Central Bank, ensuring timely communication on operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT controls and provide operational support to the monitoring function.
- Design and improve operational procedures and workflows in coordination with compliance officers.
- Oversee outsourcing arrangements and ensure service levels meet regulatory guidelines.
🛠️ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 7–10 years in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior operational management role.
- Hands-on experience in payments processing, client account management, and card programme operations.
- Sound knowledge of Bahamian banking regulation and AML/CFT obligations.
- Familiarity with core banking and payment systems; experience with digital banking platforms is a plus.
- Strong operational management, analytical, and process-design capabilities.
- Fluency in English.
