- Build services for tenant management, quotas, metering and billing, ticketing, permissions, the customer portal, and APIs.
- Design global and regional control-plane architecture and cross-region consistency for tenant, quota, and billing data.
- Automate customer onboarding and eliminate manual delivery steps.
- Ensure billing and metering are correct and auditable.
- Develop operational tools for detection, isolation, and recovery.
- Partner with Compute on region-aware scheduling and placement.
🛠️ Requirements
- 3+ years (Senior 6+) building backend services / control planes / web platforms.
- Strong backend engineering (Go / Java / Python), API design, and distributed systems.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS / cloud control planes; billing / quota systems a strong plus.
- Frontend / console (React / Vue) for full-stack contributors (a subset of the HC).
- Knowledge of RBAC, auth (OAuth / OIDC), and audit.
- Multi-region / distributed-consistency experience a plus.
