We are seeking a Publicity Assistant to support two senior members of the department, provide general administrative support, and assist with the creation of publicity campaigns for hardcover and trade paperback titles. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide variety of distinguished authors alongside a supportive team. We are focused on looking for creative, fresh, and diverse voices who care about books.
The position of publicity assistant at Penguin Press is a hybrid position with in-office responsibilities, which include but are not limited to mailings, media clippings, maintaining office supplies, attending in-person meetings, and escorting authors to events and media in New York City. We will consider candidates in the New York City metro area who can reliably be in the office 2-3 days each week.

The Penguin Random House national headquarters is located in New York City. The position is hybrid with an in-office requirement of 2-3 times a week with candidates based in the United States who can work primarily on Eastern Time.
The salary for this position is $55,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
