Job Description
The Digital Business team develops AI-powered digital solutions that transform how IDIADA and our global clients operate. We organize complex automotive data and deliver fast, reliable platforms that drive innovation across testing, validation and mobility services — positioning IDIADA as the most digital and customer-oriented company in the industry.

What are we looking for?
Experienced full-stack software engineers to design and deliver AI-enabled enterprise applications.
We seek talented developers capable of working across the entire technology stack, from robust backend services to modern user interfaces, while integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities into production-grade systems.
Key technical requirements:
- Develop backend services using Java/Spring Boot and Python, implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
- Design and implement data access layers with Hibernate ORM and optimize queries for PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Build responsive, modern frontends with Angular
- Integrate AI/ML services from AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker) and third-party providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini)
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE)
- Deploy and maintain applications across AWS and GCP cloud environments
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (AWS Kiro / Claude Code) to enhance productivity

Qualifications
Experience & Expertise
- 6+ years of professional software development with strong expertise in Java and/or Python
- Proven track record delivering production-grade enterprise applications from design to deployment
- Deep knowledge of Spring framework (Core, Boot, MVC, Data, Security) and Hibernate ORM
- Strong command of SQL and relational database design (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) and modern DevOps practices
- Bonus: Experience integrating AI/ML services (AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI APIs) or working with Angular for full-stack development
Technical Foundation
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns
- Strong debugging, profiling and performance optimization skills
- Experience writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Version control expertise with Git and collaborative development workflows
Soft Skills
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions
- Self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Languages
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
