📜 Description

  • Conduct proactive outreach to SHARE households to introduce aftercare services.
  • Perform regular check-ins to assess housing stability and address emerging issues.
  • Host monthly virtual office hours for SHARE voucher holders.
  • Provide referrals to community partners for various support services.
  • Assist with lease renewals and respond to housing-related concerns.

🛠️ Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or 2-3 years of experience working with people in housing, human services, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the NYC housing market, housing voucher programs, and/or NYC shelter system
  • Experience with community-based outreach and engagement
  • Willingness to travel and conduct community-based visits across the five boroughs
  • Ability to use public transportation and access buildings that may not have elevator access
  • Highly adaptable: comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where processes are evolving and flexibility is essential
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce
  • Self-directed and high-performing: takes ownership of work, follows through consistently, and holds themselves to a high standard
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including fluency in English and Spanish; skilled at de-escalation and mediation
