Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Proposal Writer (US Federal) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in proposal writing. This role requires strong writing, research, and organizational skills to develop compelling proposals for government and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in writing proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
Research and analyze solicitation requirements to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical teams to gather proposal content.
Maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, and best practices documentation.
Ensure clarity, consistency, and persuasiveness in proposal content.
Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Required Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in proposal writing (US Federal).
Min 1 year of experience working with IT proposals.
Strong understanding of the proposal development lifecycle, including compliance and formatting guidelines.
Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise content.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
Familiarity with government contracting and proposal management tools is a plus.
Coordinates end-to-end federal proposal development, managing schedules, compliance, reviews, content, and submissions while collaborating with capture, technical, and executive teams to deliver timely, high-quality responses.
Manage end-to-end RFP responses, coordinating cross-functional contributors, writing and editing persuasive technical proposals, and building scalable content and knowledge-management processes to improve response speed and quality.
Develops and coordinates proposals, change orders, and RFI responses for clinical trial technology, maintaining pricing models and analyzing historical pricing while reporting progress and working with Sales and Finance.
Leads the capture and proposal function, managing a team and the full pursuit lifecycle while improving qualification, response quality, workflows, and win rates through cross-functional collaboration.
The Proposal Coordinator will manage proposal activities for government and commercial defense pursuits, ensuring compliance and organization throughout the process.
